Are You Ready?!?

For those who have read my blog for less than 11 months,
this will be something new.
For those who have read my blog longer than 11 months,
this will still be something new.
Remember last year how excited I was to celebrate National Sewing Month in September [declared by President Ronald Reagan--a great reason to love the man]?  This year I have actually planned ahead and am so thrilled about what is going to unfold next month.
So thrilled, I have butterflies in my stomach.  I know.  Silly.

There are going to be tutorials, giveaways [wait until you see what the giveaways are--I'd like to enter], and a pastiche of other delectable things to do with sewing.  Even if you're not the type of person who stares at someone while they're speaking of important matters to you thinking about how their jacket was constructed and how nicely the collar lays and what fantastic buttons were chosen to contrast with the texture of the fabric, though if you had sewn it, you would have made it slightly longer to flatter her body type even more, I think you'll still be entertained.

My fabric stash has been disturbed [to put it mildly] in my preparations, which I guess makes it fair game for naps by turtle, bunny and a baby dill.  It will be worth it.
Please join me [and my guests!] for the

SEPTEMBER SEWING CELEBRATION!!!

  13. Would I creep you out if I told you I heart you!? I hope it doesn't. I enjoy your blog so much. I love how short and sweet each post is. You're great at what you do. Thanks for sharing! I am about to embark on my very own adventures in homeschooling with that comes my very own craft room/office! So,excited. Being the only female in the house I just need a room to do all things girly. Anyways, I got a sewing maching for Christmas I've not had a chance to use because I am afraid of little boys who love to explore all things mechanical. hee hee So, once my room is situated I'll be able to bring her out. Just in time too for your Sewing Month celebration! I'm SO looking forward to this!

  19. I am so happy to know that there are other people that stare at people's clothes and de-construct and redesign them when they should be paying attention.
