1 plus 1 equals 1

Ryan and I just celebrated 11 years of us.  I can't believe it has been that long.  How did that happen?  It seems like just last week I was confiding in my best friend, Melissa, that I had a crush on that Ryan Dill guy, and we both agreed Katy Dill had the perfect ring.
Of course we've had our ups and downs in our marriage.  We've learned and grown so much over the years and become stronger and more unified.  We know and appreciate each other's strengths, attempt to help one another with our weaknesses, and try to be humble when the other is right, like admitting that Ryan's frosting making skills are above par, and better than mine.  He can be the frosting maker of the family.  I'd rather decorate the cake (of which there is much to do this month with 3 birthdays and a very good possibility that there will be 4!) anyhow.
So, I try to encourage him with his dreams and desires and he does the same for me.  We work mighty well together.  Neither Ryan nor I are perfect, but together, I like to think we are more perfect.  He didn't even run away 11 years ago when my dad told him he couldn't marry me.  A story for another time.
Happy one one, love.

  10. KT--I love you too much. There is nothing better than being married to my best friend.

I love to laugh with you.

I love that you will hold a "de-brief" with me after an event--because you know I like to.

I love that you are trying to gather more details to share when you tell me little stories--I really like the details.

I love how beautiful you are--in all ways.

I love that you recreate the vignettes with me, and get the character voices, as I love to replay what is so commical about people and our interactions.

I love that you are my champion.

I love how you say "sure". That makes me so happy.

I love that We are an Us and have built This on a foundation with Him and the gospel. You are a very good woman, who inspires me to be a better man.

I love that you married me, and not another.

I love that are your self.
I love how you humor me.
And I love Specically that you have professed that you do not like the Ting Tings song "that's not my name" but yet, I often can catch you singing it!

Its been a great 11, lets do it forever. And I will give you your 18 months of a mission.
Thanks Kurt for lending her to me.

  18. I was just scrolling down to catch up on your latest posts & saw the picture of you prego...in yellow heels...with ankle straps. Since you look that great pregnant with no swollen ankles, then it's a good thing I don't live next door to you! It should be against the law to look that stinkin' cute while pregnant :) seriously, too cute.

  19. Happy Anniversary! My husband I just celebrated our eleven-year anniversary last month. My how the time flies!

Your little girls are so precious! My husband had a good laugh when I pointed out that you have FIVE girls! "Can you believe she has five girls?!" I asked my husband. Oh, that's right, we're going to be having our fifth girl in eleven weeks! We also have two little guys.
