...And a giveaway for YOU! I've done these projects over the past few months, with the final one (that cute purse down there at the bottom) being for one of you out there! All those who comment by Friday, noon (EST) will be part of a random drawing performed by one of the lovely lasses I live with.
Clover finally got a stocking, with a charm instead of her name embroidered.
Grandma Mary Dean would be proud. High heel and sparkle!
This was a skirt make-over. I made it as a maternity skirt 2 or 3 babies ago.
It is shorter in the front, gathered in the back and I added two great big pockets.
I always tell Ryan that women's clothes have far too little pocket action.
This one I was particularly pleased with, making up the pattern and having to
applique around each little girl (and one boy!)
I got the feathers and flowers for this in New York, without knowing what I was going to do with them. Could I sell these?
I picked up this upholstery fabric at MOOD,
and used some left-over corduroy as the piping for detail.
You likee? You can tell I'm a pocket fan, with another couple inside for your pen and well, whatever it is you like to put in your pockets! There's also a sturdy piece of cardboard inside to give it a nice flat bottom. Because purses like flat bottoms.
