Milo & Moonlight: Valentine's Day

We adopted another bunny a few weeks ago.  We named him Milo.  He was a lot bigger than he appeared in the Craigslist photos, but we had been searching for a neutered male as a friend for Moonlight, driven quite a way in a heavy rainstorm.  He is quite possible the sweetest bunny you'll meet. Once they decided to get along, I promised Pearl we would do a photoshoot.  She began brainstorming what we could do for every single holiday (getting rather elaborate including wigs and costumes just for President's day), but I convinced her we'd just start with Valentine's day. Their first date. ;)  Without further ado, I introduce Milo & Moonlight.
So Moonlight put bit of rouge on and a bow in her ear.
Milo looked rather smart in his bow tie.
They bonded over an apple salad and hit it off from the first nibble.
They found they had quite a bit in common, long jumps on the beach, love of garden veggies, kicking hind legs for joy, and tidy grooming habits.
He whispered sweet nothings in her long, velvet ear,
And perhaps they had their first kiss, but Milo is a gentleman and would never tell.
They're quite the snuggly bunny pair.
Happy alentine's Day.
Love, Milo & Moonlight

  6. Ooh, my GOSH!!! You are so incredibly SMART!!! Lol- Our Lola has been a much loved member of the family, for nearly 3 yrs, and I've yet to get a decent pic of him. (yes, him. Don't ask, lol) He hates our kitchen floor so badly, he won't (voluntarily) set foot in there. Somehow, it never occurred to me, to put him there for photo shoots, but it makes so much sense. He freezes in his tracks, whenever he gets moved there. Thanks! And your Milo & Moonlight are so very cute and photogenic!

    1. Ha! Perfect! I didn't even think about them not liking the tile. They definitely move around with a lot more caution ;)

  7. Do you have any tips for "posing" rabbits? or do yours sit still? I have a Cal. Satin and a mini-rex and they don't like to sit still when I try to take their pictures. do you have any tips for photographing rabbits?
