OUT Chapter 3 Giveaway: Litograph Art

I love sharing good finds, and boy do I have one for you today.  It's one that combines books with tasteful art, a very beautiful fusion.  Danny is the founder of Litographs, where he partners with artists and recreates their designs using only the text of the classic book that the design is from.  For each poster, [they] take a unique, physical copy of the book, scan it, and use that specific file to create the image.  In other words, each poster comes from a distinct copy of a book - [they] transform the book into the poster.  The result is really amazing, and even more so when you see them in person.  The text is completely legible, so you could actually sit in front of one and read the whole book if you had the time!
Not only does he help in the creation of this art, but he works with the International Book Bank, sending a book to a community in need for each poster that is sold.
Cool and nice?  Doesn't get much better.  Plus, I have it on good authority that he will be making an appearance on Fab.com pretty soon, so you know he's doing something right.
I love the Moby Dick poster.  Perfect for some tasteful boy's room art.  You can choose black/white or color, and they offer two sizes: 2' X 3' (that's big!) or 1½' X 2'.
Plus, it might keep 'em busy for hours, trying to read it.
See all the books available here.  Want one?  Leave a comment here.  Which one would you choose?  Or what book would you love to see done?  If you just want to buy one, Danny is offering $10 off with coupon code NOBIGDILL for one week.  I will announce the winner on Monday!

  166. WOW! These are amazing! I love Moby Dick and 1984, but I think my favorite is Leaves of Grass for its simplicity. Thanks for the chance to win! :)

  167. These are AMAZING! As an English MA student, I want them all! But I think I'd have to pick either Alice or Peter Pan because I have a friend who studies both of those texts and I'd love to give one to her.
