Reflections

A friend was getting rid of this giant mirror from her bathroom.  So I sent my errand boy (aka Ryan) to fetch it straightaway.  Score.  We hung it above Donald Duck and have plans to put molding around it, but that hasn't happened yet.
I love it for a few reasons.
It helps brighten up the house--always a good thing. (Do you notice Drummer's drop of saliva ready to fall?)
It gives me better vision of what the kids are up to while I'm in the kitchen--my security mirror.
But my favorite reason would be this boy.
I take him over to it (or any mirror for that matter), and he'll smile at me in it and then act all shy and bury his head in my shoulder.  Ahh.
He's in love with his momma.
And the feeling is mutual.

  12. I only have two of your dads stars, but I'll keep saving my money and buying one at a time until I have a true collection shimmering down from our ceiling. They are my prized possessions!

(your dad is the one who first told me about your blog. I was telling him about my 5 boys, and he told me you had 5 girls. This was before darling little Drummer, of course!)

Wish you could come to CO and show me how to turn my sewing machine on.
