Rubs & Pinches for Luck

Thank you for letting me be proud of myself for coming up with a frog solution on Olive's Pearl's dress. I think we, as women, give ourselves far too little credit sometimes.
We should celebrate our successes, especially when we don't have a boss or coworkers to sing our praises, give us accolades, or a big fat raise.  Of course, right after I had frog success I had hat failure, just to keep my big head in it's place.
I had a grand idea for a hat for Drummer and the first attempt was a fail.  The second attempt was a not-100%-pleased-but-close-enough-because-I-have-a-million-other-things-I-need-to-be-doing conclusion.
If I can get Drummer to  keep it on his head, I'll show you.  He's rather proud of his baldness, which is pretty much pure cuteness, and a joy to rub for good luck.
Meanwhile, Happy St. Patrick's day from cLOVEr, who is irresistibly pinchable with her buns-a buns-a.

  1. Oh you are so right about women needing to give ourselves a little more credit---especially the ones who are at home. I've been hard on myself lately, so thanks for reminding me to be nice to myself! :)

  6. We all have our strengths! And you should be proud of yourself. You are amazing. A friend knit the most adorable little hat for my Willa, (sort of like those Hanna Andersson pilot caps, only knit) and I could never duplicate it, even though I want to make versions of it for her until she's 18.
