In Honor of Orange: A Giveaway--Closed

I love orange.  Have you noticed?  I haven't been able to convince Ryan to let me paint an entire room the citrus shade, but we still have plenty of orange decor.  I thought it would be fun to have an orange star giveaway, but I recognize that everyone doesn't share the orange love [why not?!?!]
SO, you get to pick out your favorite stellar hue from my dad's stained glass star etsy shop, be it
clear or a variation on any of the above, if you are the lucky winner.

  • Go choose what you would love to hang in your home, that you would smile at every time you walked by to see the sun shining through, greeting you with happy arms!
  • Come back and leave a comment: which one you would you like hanging in your window?
  • Leave your email address if it is not attached to your profile
  • I will choose a very happy winner on Friday closed [star arms!]

  2. 23 Star Kaleidoscopic Constellation
Does that count in the giveaway!? It's stunning.

If I HAVE to choose a single star, I choose Flora Lime, she would perfectly complement my ORANGE kitchen.

You heard it! We have an all-orange painted room. Ryan should let you do it. We first used the color in our bedroom. A true orange, and truly awesome!!!

  16. Could it be a rainbow star? :) I love colors. All colors. Those stars are gorgeous. The shot of the orange one with the sun shining through really shows it's beauty! Oh, and I adore your Project Run and Play finale. If someone out there does not love orange, just show them that beautiful piece and they will see how elegant and fun it can be. I seriously love it. I am hoping for a tutorial on at least parts of it (the ruffle skirt!) I'd love to make a dress for my toddler with a similar ruffle skirt...and maybe a similar top too...okay, okay, can you just shrink the whole thing down and send it my way? haha

These stars are so fun. I love the organic, uneven nature of them. While the orange is lovely, it simply would not go with the decor in my home. I adore the green with the face that you posted and its available in the shop. It would look divine in my (lime green and royal blue) sewing room.

Oh and if I were to pick from the Etsy site itself (I got a little confused sorry, it's late here ;) ), it would be tough...Dancing into Autumn and the Koi one, both have my "signature" color, and both made me instantly smile for different reasons. The dancing one because it's just so HAPPY! And the Koi one because my girls just love fish!

  138. Talk about talent!! I'm not sure if it is in the giveaway, but I immediately fell in love with the "Choose your Memory" star. Especially, when I someday finish the quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  139. This would be such a difficult decision, I have many Kurt Knudsen originals in my Etsy favorites!

  149. I LOVE the "Orange and Green Go Good" star!!! My kitchen is green and white (like yours!) and orange is my accent color! It would go perfect hanging in my kitchen window! I already have one of your dad's stars and one of Ashley's! :-) It could be a trio! :-)

  151. I adore the Jordan tree topper. I have searched for years since becoming a parent for the perfect tree topper for my children to fight over each Christmas to see who gets to put the grande finale on the tree. Perfection found!

  152. The deep sea foam memory is my favorite (because you are making me choose...otherwise, I would take them all!)

  153. Thank for the great giveaway! HOW FUN IS THIS!!!!!!!!!! I honestly had the hardest time deciding because there were so many that have caught my eye. I love the "Lucy in the sky" we get great sun in our back window and my children would have a hay day with the rainbow glow! :)

  160. I'd like a name your star with my daughter Evelyn's name on it. Either that pastel green or pink. I'd also like to buy one for my other daughter Stella in a contrasting color...
    Wish me luck!

  161. I really love the Big Hearted Momma. We're fans of hearts in our house as our daughter has heart issues. Your dad is super talented! Thanks for the chance to win!

  162. How can a person just choose one I say! I do like the Little Red Bloomer, Lucy in the Sky, Little Flora Lime...was I only suppose to pick one? You have such talented family.

  164. The stars are beautiful and I loved reading their names, too. I'd have to choose Dancing Crystal because I actually did smile when I saw the picture of her hanging in a window:)

  166. I think this star would be perfect for our upcoming 10-year anniversary:

However, I'm guessing that's a bit more extravagant than what you had in mind when you decided to run the giveaway, so I also love this one:
