It was a dark and stormy night...

...rather, there really was no storm, as the snowflakes were inside.
But, I'd like to invite you inside my home anyway.
Bloom is hosting me hosting you!
Come in and visit!

  1. You have a beautiful home (and I'm sure always that clean:) and I love the idea of hanging snowflakes up in the entry! Might have to have a Texas sized snow storm this week.

One question: On the photo wall, there seems to be this "other" object on the wall...like a knob stopper, but he's cute...what is it?

  2. Hehe! Rachel, that's Philly Toeki! It's our talking clock. The kids chose her first name and Toeki means clock in Japanese. You press her nose and she announces the time, so we can say to our non-clock readers "go tell me what time it is!" and they'll run to press her nose and report the time. Ryan bought her for the kids when we were in New York, but you can get her online here.

  4. Your home is absolutely beautiful! I love all the artwork and rugs made by your family members. Maybe someday I can have some of their work in our home too.

  5. Elise--I love your description! It's definitely heavy on the lights. In fact, we finished decorating the tree and I said, "Let's turn off the lights so we can enjoy the tree." We turned the lights off and Ryan said, "It's like we didn't even turn the lights off the tree is so bright." True.

  7. Katy, I am totally in love with your home. I adore every single room or item in each room you showed us! I love the fact also that there are so many stuff made or created by people around you (your family is so, so creative!)... and I am madly jealous of the arcade scales and rides! Thank you for letting us in ;-)
