I was doing some late night sewing, which I only do when Ryan is out of town because I have these surges of energy when I finally get all the kids to bed. The project: headbands. Sometimes I think ahead, and this particular night I happened to be doing just that. As I was cutting them out, I thought, "I should do two of each: one for me, one for you, one for me...."
Found in my shop.
I recently cut off 10 inches of hair. Long story short, I need some cute headbands. I might have to try your lovely ruched headband tutorial, soon. Thanks for the reminder of how great they look!ReplyDelete
These are gorgeous! Are all of them in your shop or did you sell the rest before I could check them out?ReplyDelete
I just can't get over how talented you are!ReplyDelete
@Emily--whoa! They sold within the hour I posted. Check out my sold items and if you're interested in one of them, send me a conversation through my etsy shop and I'll consider making you one :)ReplyDelete
Missed you yesterday, glad your back. Loved the accessories. My hair is just now beginning to be at the point where it will accept headbands.ReplyDelete
WITHIN AN HOUR?? congrats! did it make your day! i loved that charlie brown one!ReplyDelete
whoa. guess you will be making more of these...ReplyDelete
ummmm. Don't know, Liz. I'd rather not make the same thing over and over again. Twice might be it :)ReplyDelete
hi katy: do you follow aliciapaulson's site? anyway, she mentioned nils & happy to see you and citronelle (sort of linked). anyway, their designs are amazing. looks similar to what is sold at maudeshop.com (a cool store in petaluma, ca). rumors the gauntts are moving? that would be sad. neva saw me in the hallway at church sunday and wanted me to escort her to nursery. not shy. a nice change-we're on the other spectrum around here.ReplyDelete
Those are cute! Happy for your success!ReplyDelete
Oh I gate being in Hawaii time! I always get here to late! They are stunning I love love love the cranberry one! Beautiful!ReplyDelete
I just have to chime in and say...My husband is a stand up comedian, and I do the exact same thing on gig nights...the late night sewing. I love that time. It's just about me. Anyway, just to say I get it. Totally. :)ReplyDelete
