Charlie Brown, Gun Metal Pleats, and Cranberry Picnic--One for me, one for you

I was doing some late night sewing, which I only do when Ryan is out of town because I have these surges of energy when I finally get all the kids to bed.  The project: headbands.  Sometimes I think ahead, and this particular night I happened to be doing just that.  As I was cutting them out, I thought, "I should do two of each: one for me, one for you, one for me...."

Found in my shop.

Gun Metal Pleats: sold

Cranberry Picnic: sold

Charlie Brown: sold

  1. I recently cut off 10 inches of hair. Long story short, I need some cute headbands. I might have to try your lovely ruched headband tutorial, soon. Thanks for the reminder of how great they look!

  5. Missed you yesterday, glad your back. Loved the accessories. My hair is just now beginning to be at the point where it will accept headbands.

  9. hi katy: do you follow aliciapaulson's site? anyway, she mentioned nils & happy to see you and citronelle (sort of linked). anyway, their designs are amazing. looks similar to what is sold at maudeshop.com (a cool store in petaluma, ca). rumors the gauntts are moving? that would be sad. neva saw me in the hallway at church sunday and wanted me to escort her to nursery. not shy. a nice change-we're on the other spectrum around here.

  12. I just have to chime in and say...My husband is a stand up comedian, and I do the exact same thing on gig nights...the late night sewing. I love that time. It's just about me. Anyway, just to say I get it. Totally. :)
