Alligator Farm with Pearl

So, I broke down and went on another field trip with Pearl.  The alligator farm.
But! I have to admit I enjoyed the native birds more than alligators.  It has become a natural bird refuge as there aren't the normal predators for these fine feathered friends with alligators to protect them--like a whole bunch of big brothers.

In honor of Mother's day coming up

Roseate Spoonbill--I'd name the rest of them, but I never took zoology with Mr. Webb.  Shame, I know.

Oh, there were alligators, too.

  1. Beautiful! I have been admiring the float skirt on your left sidebar, but don't see it anywhere. Did you make it?

  3. i don't mean to tell you how to do your job or anything, but letting your kid sit in an alligator's mouth is just not going to win you any parenting awards. and you were SO CLOSE!
