shimmery, furry, sheer, stretchy, and fluffy fabric from my cloth cache. Then started the sing-song sheers squeak. My goal: 7 bug-themed costumes by that evening. A sleepy eyed face appeared a few hours later at the closet door, wondering what in the world I was working on. I can't sleep. So you get your scissors out and start cutting at everything in sight? Sure.
I failed to reach my goal by one costume which had to be purchased. The baby bee stripes are a bit whimsical, but you try sewing stretchy velvet on a thick faux fur. I dare you. But Clover doesn't mind skiwompus stripes and Azure didn't mind purchased butterfly wings. I've only had the time to photograph the spider and her hourglass accessory, but the rest will surely follow. Surely.
