Printing on Fabric

I have been consuming this book of late:
Printing by Hand: A Modern Guide to Printing with Handmade Stamps, Stencils, and Silk Screens

Has anyone ever printed on fabric before?
You can make some pretty amazing things.
There's this skirt giveaway here, for example.
But the possibilities are endless: curtains,
wrapping "paper", clothing, bedding, table
linens, to name a few. If you'd like to come
over and sail this maiden voyage with me,
I'd love to have you on deck!

  4. Congrats on the skirt! I am finally admitting, Katy, that I stalk your blog regularly. I figure I should own up to it! You are amazing! And your girls, so beautiful! (I'm jealous!)

  5. Ann, I need you here to give pointers. No I haven't started on anything yet. Hopefully this week...post birthdays.

Rachel, I'm so glad you commented! Thank you for your kind words.

  6. I printed on fabric once, but not by hand. I used a printer. It was really really hard--but that was about 8 years ago. I wonder if I'm up for it again. I can't wait to see what you do.
