41 Week Post

No baby yet.  My dad keeps offering castor oil.  I continue to say no.  We are carrying on around here.

Lunch at a local fish monger entertained us all--watching the docked fishermen gut their catches of the day and toss the remainder of the carcass overboard to any sea dwellers with an appetite.  Fish tacos for the land lubbers.  Fries for the hovering egrets. Ended with a heavy rainstorm on the tin roof.

  5. You are patient Katy. At that point I would probably be in tears in every picture, pregnancy and me are not the best of friends. (although I LOVE the babies!)

  6. Christy, the name of the restaurant is Safe Harbor Seafood Market and it's near the Naval Airport in Mayport. The address is:
    4378 Ocean St #3
    Atlantic Beach, FL 32233
    (904) 246-4911

Apparently they bake their rolls on site and they have honey to eat with them (the kids would love that.)

  7. Katy, you look fantastic! Bless your heart, I couldn't go past the due date--I have been known to schedule an induction, just because...TWICE! Hey...a sidenote: I occasionally read your sister Jordan's blog (an exquisite writer by the way), so I knew that her husband went to medical school in New Orleans. The other day I was talking to a woman whose husband also went to medical school in New Orleans. I told her I read a blog of a woman whose husband went to medical school there and I told her their last name. She said, "Jordan?!" Apparently, their husbands went to school together and they know each other...AND she also reads Jordan's blog daily! She just went on about what a great family they are. Wow, what a small world. It made me feel very stalker-ish--but, your sister has such a great way of putting life into words--it's fabulous...like a little mini-novel. Anyway, I hope you are feeling as good as you look! Take Care!

  8. Jennifer, I know, we all keep telling her to write a novel. (Between taking care of 4 kids and a husband, right?) She is a great writer. How was the move? Are you settling in and getting established? Good to hear from you.
