Moisturizer Madness

This is a trivial matter to blog about, but we all have them. You know what I mean. That little item that we pick up at the store no matter how many of them we already have at home. And this isn't even my entire collection. I don't know what it is about moisturizers that I can't get enough of. I don't have particularly dry skin, per se, but perhaps that's my Achilles tendon. I love a good lotion, but can't bring myself to throw out the bad ones. The desire to stay wrinkle-free is a futile battle in the end. My mom believes that it won't be long before aging becomes the fashion instead of fighting it. I'd like to believe that, but in the meantime, I'll keep hunting for that perfect moisturizer. And admitting it is the first step to recovery, right?

  1. I'm so glad to know I'm not alone in this particular "tendon". I am also on the search for the perfect de-wrinkler and wrinkle deterent...let me know when you finally find THE one!

  2. lipsticks are my downfall. at least they are less expensive than moisturizers. you inspire me to take a pic of my lipstick collection.
by the way, i really like estee lauder's daywear plus, though i have no idea if its effective of not. how can you really tell? i am starting to notice little lines around my eyes, but weren't those inevitable??? i recently read that we should be investing in a good restorative night cream but skimping on the day cream, which should just be a moisturizer with good sunblock.
    trivialities, indeed...
