"I" could also be for infatuation, because after sewing for 5 girls, 6 if you count me ;) it is so much fun to sew for a little boy!
He was even willing to try it on a few times while I was making it, maybe because that meant he got to walk around without his shirt in between fittings.I used Burda 9505 for the pattern, one that I've used a few times before. It just fits so nicely and looks professional. Both Ryan and Divine asked, "you made that?" as I was editing photos.
I added elbow patches, because I'm kind of infatuated with those, too. Does that fabric look familiar? I've used it for a few things including covering buttons for the tufting on the bench I reupholstered.I also added little tabs on the pocket and buttonhole, not serving any purpose other than visually stimulation. It's a waterproof fabric that doesn't fray, so I can cut it out in any shape and not have to worry about wear and tear.
I was being so productive, that when I noticed an unusual amount of silence, I found that Drummer had been "playing trucks in dirt." At least he tells the truth.
And I also know that, technically, spiders are not insects. Where are all the fake bugs when you actually need them?
