I love deadlines. I need one looming over my head to really be productive, which is why I always love Once Upon a Thread. I have all these books with ideas and often they never have a chance to actually be created because, well, you know how life gets in the way.I've wanted to make Dana's (MADE) Rollie Pollie pattern for many months and finally had that deadline grinning it's wily teeth at me. In fact I made not just one, but two!
(do you like our make-shift fire? it was in the 80s this day!)
But with that procrastination that often holds hands with my deadlines, I didn't have enough filler for both, and didn't have time to order some more.We don't have very much furniture in our house, but we love to curl up every night with our books.
Often the whole width of the fireplace is filled with library books to choose from. We probably keep the library in business with all the late fees we tend to pay.
So I dreamed of having a Rollie Pollie for the kids to enjoy their literary treasures. Mighty comfy, wouldn't you say? I think I might have to make 2 jumbo ones for Ryan and me.
Want to make your very own Rollie Pollie? Dana is generously offering 4 of her patterns to no big dill readers!
