How did you celebrate Frida Kahlo's Birthday?

So, admittedly I did not know it was her birthday until after our arrival to the museum, but I loved how it turned out apropos.

Can you find my sweet addition to Miller's famous painting?  I think he'd agree that it's better.
Did you know most museums have a night admission fee free?  We took advantage with our large brood and they did fairly well, although assistance with hand holding from visiting relatives helped.  What's your favorite museum?

  6. I want to hold hands at a free museum! What a fun 3D painting, and yes, Clover is the perfect touch.

I still don't think I've been to enough museums to know my favorite, but I did really enjoy a GIANT show of Frida at the Tate Modern in London.

  7. Frida was my favorite artist in high school. Thanks to Google I learned yesterday was her birthday. Fave (DC) museum? The Hirschhorn...but I also love the National Gallery because they have the largest Rothko collection in the world. Oh, I also love the American Art museum too.

  11. The Lake Erie Maritime in Vermilion, OH (my hometown!)! It's filled with beautiful ships, pictures of ship wrecks from Lake Erie and the view from the upper deck is amazing!
