  4. I have a lot to say about this skirt.
    four things
    1. The colors make it. Were you tempted to do red? I am glad you didn't it exaggerates the unexpected.
    2. The length is perfect.
    3. The placement of the balloon is excellent.
    4. Who is going to guess it was printed?

  13. Thank you, everyone for your kind words!

Ashley, Red, no. But, I almost did it in celery green. I'm pleased I chose this blushing pink.

Smash, I made my own circle stamp from a foam sheet, and used fabric paint (more than I thought it would take, as it needs to go on thick). Also, I found those TIDE pens come in handy from any light smudges of paint that happen (after it dries). I made a facing for the hem and then edgestitched so it wouldn't peek around from the back.

Connie, I use a Nikon D90, but have hardly dipped a toe in the pool of knowledge on how to use it.

Tasha, YES! I'd like to hold a Sewing Retreat around March or April. Sewing beachside for an entire weekend? Pretty close to heaven!

Madsta, I first took a sewing class in high school. Even if it isn't your passion, it really comes in handy when mending and altering clothes.
