Seein' Spots

It certainly isn't that I love any one of my children more than another, but I have enjoyed this stage more each time around.  I look forward to getting Clover up each morning, her smile at seeing me above her bed, kicking her legs in anticipation of me picking her up.  Watching her splash the water in the tub, always surprised when it gets in her face.   I soak it up to see her observe her sisters with her eyes wide and her eyebrows raised. These 7 months have gone so fast. Too fast. I'm grateful for this thing called motherhood and the joys it brings with it.

  1. She is so beautiful Katy. I bought that same sweater for Mila and sadly, as you say, the time was too fast and she didn't wear it near as much as I would have liked her to.

  5. 7-9 months my favorite age. I get a little sad when my kids outgrow it.

    She is adorable!

  6. good age indeed! but they all sort of are, in their own delicious ways. You're smart to just keep re-visiting them. In theory, you could have a few more 7-month old baby love-fests. we all would encourage that.
    Clover is adorable. Really.
