5 in a tub

As I looked at this photo, I wondered why I was holding my almost 3 year old and not my almost one year old....I don't know. Is this what happens with each succeeding child? You pay attention less and less? You stop noticing? You focus only on the matters which involve life and death and everything else seems trivial? I don't know. But, don't you worry, we're all fine. And look at my poor posture! I'll have to add that to my list of things to work on. I'm thinking aloud. Anyhow, we had a jet bath and warmed up after a chilly swim outside. It was delightful.

  1. Katy, you are the queen of posture, I don't think that is something that needs much of your attention--I don't know how you give anything else YOUR attention with those four little gals sitting in the tub with you!!! You're amazing.

  2. nice to see you in your pictures for once. its rare, i know, i'm always the one behind the camera too. speaking of cameras, i answered your question on my blog. we can talk more about them if you have other questions.
    anyway, you look lovely.

ethan is currently jumping off of furniture with an open umbrella and is annoyed that he is not gracefully floating to the ground like mary poppins but is instead plopping down rather ubruptly.

  3. Jennifer, perhaps Ethan should take lessons from Winnie the Pooh--or jump from greater heights.
