Danish Pastries

Today I'm over at Dana's blog MADE, participating in her Sweets and Treats series, a countdown to Christmas.  If you're looking for some new holiday treats to make, you really need to check it out.
These are made every year in our home, drawing from the Danish heritage on my side of the family (my great grandma, Pearl Estella, used to make these).  My lucky family got them early this year so I could share the recipe with you.  They were immediately inhaled.  What is a holiday necessity sweet treat at your house?

Also, today is the last day to enter the HP Touchsmart computer giveaway here.

  1. These look so good! I've never attempted danish but I bet they're a million times better than the generic store stuff. Love the shapes you made.

  2. We make Louisiana cream fudge. And we are Danish too! I was born with a cafe-au-lait birthmark on my right cheek similar to Drummer's. I wonder if it's a Danish thing.
