Sew, Mama, Sew! Giveaway

Good news and bad news today.  Bad news first, since you probably already guessed [read] the good news?

With three projects gone awry [involving drilling stones and dying fabric], going out of town for the weekend [more on this later], plus sick kids [again?!?] I've missed my deadline for my post today.  People ask how I do it all.  Well, perfect case in point.  I don't do it all and sometimes things get dropped.  Just thought I'd let you know.  I'm not giving up, though, because I have people.  Stone people.  And ruffly people. And tiramisu people, you know, to help with the wait on the stone people and ruffly people to follow through, which they will.  I will MAKE IT WORK!  That Tim Gunn comes in handy in times of failing projects.  Meanwhile, keep adding your photos to the flickr group, and for the good news, go here.

pay no attention to the headless child

Also, while we're not on the subject, did you know I make some pretty impressive crepes?  If you really want more of me today, I'm sharing today over at the Southern Institute for Domestic Arts and Crafts with the lovely Jenny on her series "Meals Kids Love".  And seriously, they love these.  Almost too much.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing today Katy! I'm glad to hear that you made it home safely, but so sad that you have sick little ones... I hope they feel better very soon.

BTW, it's encouraging to know that even you can't do it all! Hee Hee!

  2. Oh, sickness go away! My little one has had this crazy viral infection in her hands. We were up in the middle of the night finding a solution so she could sleep without itching. Hang in there. :)
